Jeff Barnhart

Jeff Barnhart is one of the busiest pianists in the country. He performs with four festival-caliber groups (Draga-Vax Connection, The Titan Hot Five, The New Reformation Jazz Band, Hot Jam), plays duo engagements with clarinetist Bob Draga, has recently been signed as a performer with Jazzdagen Tours and is invited to every major ragtime festival in the nation.
With his "take no prisoners" approach to piano playing, singing and entertaining, Jeff is in demand around the world as both a soloist and band member. A typical set with Jeff will feature ragtime, stride, boogie, swing and both familiar and obscure pop tunes from the teens through the forties (Jeff has over 10,000 songs in his repertoire).
Jeff is featured on over 20 recordings, including 8 on his own label Jazz Alive Records. When Jeff is not busy in the recording studio, he pursues his other musical interest, introducing young people to jazz and ragtime through workshops and concerts.
