Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a pianist since age 2, Adrienne began playing ragtime as a child and continues her interest to the present day. A current board member of the Indianapolis Classic Ragtime Society, Adrienne has shared her talents as pianist and vocalist at club meetings, as well as at other venues around the globe. She also maintains an active teaching studio.

As Executive Director and Composer-in-Residence of the Indianapolis based Women Composers Project, Adrienne is actively involved in researching, performing, and educating others about music by women composers. In 1999 she created an award winning "Women Composers Resource Kit" on behalf of the Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, an international music fraternity. Her compositions include works for concert hall and theatre, ragtime pieces, art songs, choral music, and chamber music. Her style is an eclectic blend of contemporary classical and musical theatre, with influences from jazz, the blues, gospel, folk, and pop music.

Adrienne holds degrees from Arcadia University, Indiana University, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

"Ragtime Gals," created and performed by musical humorist Adrienne Provenzano, is a unique entertaining and educational program of piano and vocal music. Included are ragtime pieces, parlor songs, and classical character pieces, all composed by women. As part of "Ragtime Gals," Adrienne also performs original compositions, including excerpts from her Limberlost Suite, inspired by the life and works of Hoosier author, Gene Stratton-Porter.
